What data is stored?

Your name and email, your comment, your article are stored in our database hosted and managed by Bluehost, a company who provides hosting services. Please refer to their Privacy Policy to find how and where they store their servers and databases. Bluehost is a reputable company who has the best levels of security in place to prevent server and hacking issues.

Where is your data stored?

Your name and email is stored on Bluehost servers if you make a comment, and it is transferred and stored via a third party named Infusionsoft when you subscribe, or sign up for an offer, or pay for a product.

How long is your data stored?

Name and email are stored as long as you don’t unsubscribe from the list you are added to. Every email we send has the option to unsubscribe.

We follow Google Analytics and Jetpack and Intercom privacy policies for the data collection through their web tracking features. Please refer to them for more information.

How safe is your data?

We are constantly upgrading in order to protect this wordpress site from hackers, brute force attack and other malevolent actions. We follow all advice from Bluehost, our hosting company, and Jetpack from that makes backups and safety a priority.

We cannot guarantee that no hackers will never steal or alter any content on the site, but we are keeping our site up to date with the latest protection.

We do not keep any of your sensitive data and use WooCommerce payment system to protect all transactions.

On Infusionsoft we control your data (name and email) organized by list and tags after you either subscribed or bought a product. Please know that we would never share your name and email, unless we have made it clear through a product buy. For example when you sign up for the Understanding Men Group Buy offer, you know that we will share your details with PAX international, Alison Armstrong’s company in order for you to benefit from that offer.

What do we do with your data?

We will never sell you data to anyone.

When a comment is approved it is available for anyone to see and you should ask us to remove your comment if you do not wish it to be public.

Name and email:
We either manually or automatically add them to a specific list with a specific tag so you only get the emails you signed up for. We do offer information regarding, gift giving made easy and other offers that might be of interest to you. We make a point to nurture every contact we have but you can ask us to remove your email and name from our lists and we will do so. All emails have an unsubscribe link that you can also use.

We love to have guest authors, and we value their work. We ask for a bio and an image in order to give a clear view of the author for our readers. We do not alter the content without prior consent from the author. And we will keep the article published as long as necessary. The author can always ask us to remove an article they wrote. We also reserve the right to remove the article without any permission from the author. We bear no responsibility if the article content is copied while published on our site. All images we use are copyrighted and legally on the site. Anybody can make a screenshot and it is out of our control.

It is an infringement to copy or download any content without our expressed invitation for anyone to do so, usually via a download button.

Cookies and other web trackers

What one must know is that cookies and web trackers are the only tools for an online business to understand their customers and deliver a better experience for them. You can disable cookies on your browser, and reject also the web tracking linked to your IP address.

We use Google Analytics and Jetpack statistics to understand better how our visitors interact with the site. Web tracking is exactly what any shop does when they monitor who enters their shop at what time on which day, where they go and what they look at first, second etc.. with gender, age group etc…
The quality of your web experience highly depends on the information we gather about your visits and what you do on the site.

We value your privacy and only directly interact with those of you who choose to interact with us.
Your data is only used to improve your experience. It is not sold nor given to anyone without your explicit consent.
